I began polishing the female base mesh that I created last week. I decided not to move onto modelling the armour, as I knew that the topology on the body still needed attention. the aim was to maintain smooth topology across the body creating good geometry, to reflect the human anatomy.
In the plan I highlighted the major points I would be addressing in the essay, namely, my ambition to become a character artist. furthermore, what I must accomplish to achieve my aspiration. For the most part of my essay, I want to explain what a character artist is, how this role has affected the video games industry, how has character art affected me and most importantly what have I learned from my dichotomous character project.
Following my work this week, it was time to travel home and visit the family. Going home this easter was a particularly enjoyable occasion, simply because it gave me the break from the stresses of work. Pardon the cliche but nothing beats a mother’s meal and your own bed.
The joke was that I had worked for so long before the easter break that I had forgotten how to relax. the prospect doing nothing was alien to me. Eventually I took advantage of this therapeutic experience and relaxed.
